Our Beginner Program is a vibrant introduction to the world of steel pan music. Tailored for those with little to no experience, this course focuses on rhythm, melody, and teamwork. You’ll discover the basics of playing steel drums in a supportive and energetic environment that encourages learning, creativity, and appreciation for Caribbean culture.

Begin your musical journey with structured lessons that focus on hands-on learning, community, and fun. This breakdown helps newcomers feel supported as they gain basic musical skills, then build toward a group performance.
Explore the instrument and get comfortable with pan layout, mallet grip, and rhythm games. This phase is all about building comfort, curiosity, and a strong musical foundation.
Understand basic notation, scale patterns, and beat structure. We teach through fun repetition and ear training so you begin hearing music in a whole new way.
Begin learning simple songs and play along with the group. This section focuses on timing, playing together, and preparing for your final showcase.
